Ghanaians on social media are peeved over claims by Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is Ghana’s best President.
What’s even worrying is the description he gave Ghana’s first President “That Your Nkrumah”.
To many who have expressed their disgust for the comments, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party shouldn’t have uttered those words when he knows and is clear in his mind that they were factually inaccurate.
Sentiments expressed about the statement made by Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh were mostly negative and a rehashing of claims of his supposed arrogance.
The New Patriotic Party on July 9, 2024, unveiled Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
At a well-attended ceremony, several speeches were made with calls for unity In the political party if they are looking at making history with a victory in the 2024 election.

Until Napo showed up, I thought Bawumia had the most irritating persona for a politician.

Napo's whole being is 50% arrogance and 50% delusions of grandeur.
"Your Nkrumah ''
Even Akufo Addo isn't this arrogant.
The list below are Kwame Nkrumah's achievements in 6 years in government. I dare NAPO and the NPP to list its accomplishments in 8 years of governance.

People will get a little money and power and start talking irresponsibly about their predecessors. What monumental thing has the president done ? Building a cathedral with tax payers money ? Nothing NPP or NDC has done can be compared to what KWAME NKRUMAH has done for Ghanaians.

Imagine if Kwame Nkrumah never led the Gold Coast to independence. Imagine if he never constructed the motorway or built the Akosombo Dam and tema harbor. What if he never established the University of Science and Technology. Where would we have been as a people and a nation?…
