General Manager of Nsoatreman Football Club, Eric Alagidede, has praised Bofoakwa Tano for the latter’s triumph over Dreams FC in the MTN FA Cup.
He said this in an exclusive interview on CITI TV’s Football Made In Ghana after his side beat Legon Cities 2-1 to setup a final game against Bofoakwa Tano who beat Dreams FC by the same margin.
The games were played out at the WAFA Park in Sogakope in the semifinals with the crosstown rivals setting up an exciting final on June 23 at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
Aside being the defending champions, Dreams excelled in the CAF Confederation Cup by making it to the semifinals in its debut run in the competition.
The winner of the FA Cup qualifies to the CAF Confed Cup next season and in the lead up to the final game, Nsoatreman’s GM lauded the efforts of Bofoakwa in eliminating Dreams.
“We’ve played twice this season (in the league), both ended goalless and it makes the final a very difficult one. To beat Dreams FC, the defending champions and the most in-form team that just got to the semifinals of the CAF Confed Cup is not easy.”
