Ryan Seacrest is getting ready to make his debut as the next host of Wheel of Fortune!
Back in June, it was announced that Ryan, 48, will be taking over as host of the ABC game show beginning with the 2024-25 season once longtime host Pat Sajak retires.
In a new interview, Ryan revealed the advice Pat, 76, and Vanna White gave him about hosting Wheel of Fortune.
“They’ve just told me how fun the show is,” Ryan shared with E! News. “It is probably the best show to work on on television. You’re giving away money every single night to people, and it never gets old.”
It was also just recently announced that Vanna, 66, signed a new contract and will be on Wheel of Fortune through at least the 2025-2026 season.
“I’ve known [Vanna] for a long time,” Ryan added. “We’ve known each other for many, many years, and so I’m looking forward to being on that set with her.”
While he’s looking forward to making his Wheel of Fortune debut, Ryan did admit that he’s still a bit nervous.
“Of course I’m nervous. I haven’t done it yet, so I’m terrified,” he confessed. “I am very much looking forward to it.”
Ryan added, “Pat Sajak’s a legend whom I’ve looked up to and watched so many years, and to know that that show is such a staple for America and such a destination for people and families in the evening, I just want to do my best job and make it seamless and have people continue to enjoy it.”
Another recent interview, Ryan revealed what he finds to be the most “challenging” part of hosting Wheel of Fortune.
