Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Medikal, has decided to drop some words of encouragement for his fans.
He advised his fans including upcoming artists to stop selling themselves short and start knowing their self-worth. Medikal explained that, people will address you by how you present yourself.
In his words “Know thy self worth. If you sell yourself for 1 cedi, they will buy you for 1 cedi, if you sell yourself for 5 billion, they will buy you for 5 billion, it’s better for them to think you are too expensive than for them to see you as cheap.
Meanwhile, Medikal has already received support from a devoted fan base and has released several popular songs, including Confirm, Forever My Love (with Bisa Kdei). He was also featured by 2016 Ghanaian music artist of the year E.L on his most recent mixtape B.A.R III: Lomi Era.
The most nominees for the 2017 Ghana Music Awards went to Medikal, who was up against notable performers, including Sarkodie.
Through perseverance and multiple partnerships with prominent musicians, Medikal has established a name for himself in the music business. He was also named the best African musician by IARA in 2018.
He has collaborated with artists including Bisa Kadie, Criss Waddle, Confirm Remix with Sarkodie, Connect, Sales, Heart Boy, and Medikal Bra Krom on some of his biggest singles.
