Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah, widely known as Shatta Wale, has strongly criticized radio presenter and entertainment analyst, Abeiku Aggrey Santana, for suggesting the suspension of the videographer who captured the shoes worn by producer and industry figure Ola Michael.
This controversy emerged after social media users mocked Ola Michael for wearing a pair of shoes that appeared to be in poor condition on the set of the United Showbiz show on UTV, which aired on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Abeiku Santana reacted by calling for the suspension of the videographer responsible for showing the shoes on live TV, insinuating that it may have been a deliberate attempt to humiliate Ola Michael.
In response, Shatta Wale took to Facebook to express his disagreement with Abeiku Santana’s stance. He called for Abeiku Santana himself to be suspended, accusing him of being destructive to the work of others and damaging their livelihoods.
Shatta Wale’s post read, “You yourself you need suspension long time… Shut up for there!!! This is all you know, to spoil people’s work… Foolish entertainment people.”
