Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, popularly known as Wanlov the Kubolor, says he is jealous of madmen.
Wanlov the Kubolor is known for his unique way of dressing. He is known for tying a cloth around his waist, walking barefoot, and wearing singlets.
According to Wanlov, mad me walks freely naked and is not questioned; adding that he sometimes feels like walking around naked but will be arrested when he does.
During an interview with Doreen Abanema Abayaa on Talkertainment, Wanlov said, “I am jealous of mad people. I’m like, why are you walking around naked and no one cares? People would stop caring if I did it right now…maybe if I did it for a long time.”
“I think I need to have enough money in case I am arrested for public nudity. Until they realize that maybe I do have a mental problem, they won’t leave me alone,” he added.
He added that if he decides to walk freely around naked, he would have to fake madness.
