Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has confirmed his planned visit to Ghana on Monday in a video posted on his Twitter page.
The Senegal-born former French international did the announcement in front of a number of spectators at an unspecified location.
The date of the visit is not known yet as he did not mention it.
The former Manchester United captain, who has been an advocate of respect for Africa, said ‘they didn’t believe in Africa’ in the video.
In February 2022 when people were campaigning for the postponement of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Evra was one of the public figures to come out and explain what the tournament means to the people of Africa.
The purpose of his visit is unspecified.
