It seems Sally Mann, a popular entertainment panellist and to an extent, a pundit knows what she has signed herself up for given her volatile utterances she aimed at Shatta Wale recently.
While taking her regular spot on TV XYZ, Sally said if Shatta Wale thinks he really has a big brand, he should attract high-profile media interviews globally as the one Burna Boy had with Jimmy Falon when he appeared as a guest on the last episode of “The Tonight Show.”
According to Sally, Shatta Wale exclusively visits the UK to perform at events in “ghetto locations” where no white guys are present.
“They are busy counting money. What shows has Shatta Wale played? When he goes to England to sleep, he goes to a community like the Nima-oriented community to have a show. Which show of Shatta Wale has had white people in attendance?” she said.
Her rant extended to a frivolous comparison with budding artiste Black Sherif over his recent BET nomination and milestone on Spotify.
“You people should stop. You can all go to the tangent he wants you all to go but then with me, I will not go to the level that he is. Personally, I will attack what you do as a musician. You claim you have money but he hasn’t been able to go for BET.
“‘Kwaku the Traveler’ has travelled and now has got a nomination. He is sitting there and insulting women, for what? Because Yaa told you you don’t have money?” she added.
