A General Secretary Hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Musah Superior has noted that members of the political party do not pay dues.

He says this is because the party lacks a database to trace its members in order to take dues from them.

Musah Superior made this known in a post shared on social media.

The former Tamale Mayor says there is a need for the party to roll out a policy that will ensure that party members pay their dues so those monies can be used to run the party.

Musah Superior noted that the party is losing a lot of revenue and there is, therefore, the need for something to be done.

He said “Do you know that the NPP lost Ghc 900,000,000 in the last five years due to none payment of dues? Let’s do the needful. We must stop this financial lost. We must roll out a vigorous membership drive, register and issue membership cards to those registered as soon as practicable and announce a new policy of dues payment. The policy must not be complicated and should be affordable. If we register 3 million members and each person pays 5 ghc a month (Ghc 60 a year), we ll make Ghc 180,000,000.00 a year. I am fired up to be your GS”.
