A panel member on Joy FM’s Strong and Sassy Mrs Marilyn Suttah has indicated that loving is for men.
According to her, all women need to do in a relationship is to respect their men.
She does not cancel out the fact that women can also love but indicates that women should always allow men to initiate the loving.
Mrs Marilyn Suttah noted that women who initiate loving turn out to be seen as desperate and that’s when some men take advantage to exploit them.
Her arguments were based on relationships before marriage.
“I also wish I knew that loving is for the man and all we had to do was to give him respect. It does not mean that a woman cannot love a man but you have to allow him to initiate it. Sometimes out of desperation, we go out loving the men and then that leads to exploitation.”
