Six armed robbers have been arrested by the Police for series of robberies they carried out in the Greater Accra and Central regions.
The suspects are Jibrila Musa, Hussein Sampa, Daniel Acquah, Anthony Sackey, Michael Ojo and Ade Banjor and were arrested at various locations, the Police said in a statement on Monday April 18.
The items retrieved so far from the suspects are one locally manufactured gun, one foreign pistol, a cache of ammunition, two iPhones and four wristwatches.
“One of the stolen vehicles has also been retrieved,” the statement added.
