It’s a far cry to the next general elections in 2024. However, aspiring candidates of the 2 biggest political parties are gearing up for the race ahead. For the opposition National Democratic Congress, it will not be much of a battle as to who leads the party in 2024. For the ruling New Patriotic Party, it will be fireworks as about 5 candidates are lacing their boots to contest.

The competition will see Alan Kyerematen come up against Vice President Bawumia, Afriyie Akoto, Boakye Agyarko, Joe Ghartey among others. Speaking on Alhaji and Alhaji, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, the Special Aide to former president John Mahama noted that from the list of those competing, none is a match for John Mahama. She explained that their reputation is there for all to see especially that of Bawumia.
