The source of wealth of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa continues to become worrisome to many especially members of the governing New Patriotic Patriotic Party (NPP).
The lawmaker, who recently opened a footwear and furniture bank in his constituency is being asked to disclose source of his wealth which he is able to financing numerous projects in his Constituency
The Criminal Investigate Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has therefore been admonished to take interest in the affairs of the former Deputy Minister of Education.
“Where did he get the money from? He has not worked publicly or privately before joining politics. This defines who a corrupt politician is,” a known activist of the governing New Patriotic Patriotic Party (NPP) one Kabenlah Muah wrote on Facebook.
In a Facebook post,Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa wrote:
“It is refreshing to note that this has been largely a North Tongu local content-driven initiative from the metal fabrication, furniture production and footwear supplies. I am enormously proud of Aveyime- based Amuga Metal Works, Borlor Shoes of Mepe and Dodzi Carpentry in Battor”.
