Speaking to MyNewsGh.com, he disclosed that plans to marry all three women have been on the drawing table for some time now until he was certain and fixed the date.

“I was with one of them and we have one child until decided to add the other two. Traditionally, I am married to the first one but we never had ‘Awure’ in consonance with the customs and traditions of Islam. I decided to marry all of them on the same day as per my belief as a Muslim”, he disclosed.

Alhaji Abdulai Mumuni who disclosed that he weaves smocks for sale hinted that with time if he has the capacity he could marry more as his religion pegs his limit to four (4) wives.

“My religion allows me to marry up to four wives. I am marrying the three together and the women have no problem at all. I am unable to tell when I will marry again but if God allows, I could add another to seal everything”, he stressed.

Asked if he has the capacity to take care of all three women, he responded in the affirmative indicating that he is a hardworking man who can sufficiently provide for his family.

“I am a businessman and will work hard to take care of my three wives. Catering for them emotionally and physically is not a problem at all as many will worry about”, he added.

Alhaji Abdulai Mumuni will, on Saturday, January 15, 2021, tie the knot with his 3 fiancées whose names are only given as Nuudiah, Hikimah and Yaasimina at an Islamic marriage ceremony which will be held at the Moshie Chief Palace.

The 3 women are believed to be in their late 20s and early 30s.
