The mother of the young lady is said to have reported about her missing daughter.

After frantic search for the young lady, she was found in the room of her lover who is one of the young men engaged in illegal mining.

There are indications that the young girl was enticed with money to leave home and join him as they engage in acts deemed unhealthy for her age.

The report by Dreamz FM indicated but for the intervention of a Non Governmental Organisation Youth Harvest Foundation the girl when found did not want to go back to her home.

Project Officer with Youth Harvest Foundation, Khadija Hamidu who spoke to Dreamz FM on the issue said it’s imperative that parents take a keen interest in the upbringing of their children.

She used the opportunity to educate parents on the need to report such incidents to the right quarters rather than settling such issues at home.
