A footballer can only be regarded the best player in the world when he wins the FIFA Ballon D’or. It is an award for the most performing player that is held every year by the France Football Magazine. This award since its introduction has been won by many great footballer players. The likes of Leo Messi, who has won it six times, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has also won it five times. Other winners are Ronaldinho Gaucho, George Weah, Kaka and more.

In an interview this morning, he explained why he was snubbed by the France Football Magazine. He said,” I am wondering; if I had played for France and had taken part in the Euro 2020, would we have this debate and this reflection?”
