Pastor Mensah Otabil has cautioned believers to desist from putting their trust in Karma because it has no biblical proof.
The overseer of the International Central Gospel Church said believing in Karma is not practicing Christianity nor the words of their savior Jesus Christ.
He stressed that Christians are swaying away from the redemption message and gearing towards an eye for an eye which is not biblical.
Pastor Mensah Otabil maintained that Karma has no history In the bible, the holy book which guides Christians in their journey to salvation.
“There are Christians who believe in the Law of Karma. They believe that when you throw a ball to the wall it bounces back to you. But the Law of Karma is not Biblical” he reportedly said.
The top clergyman explained that God can intercept and change the direction of the ball by the time a ball is thrown against the wall for it to bounce back, thereby saving you from your mistakes.
“In Christianity, there is redemption, which means between the time you throw the ball to the wall and it bounces back to you, God can intercept it… God can deliver you from your mistakes. Karma is not Christianity. That’s another religion” Pastor Otabil added.
Karma is an Indian religious philosophy that preaches the balance of the universe through a single law, ‘You do bad, you receive bad to balance the equation and if you do good you receive good in return’.
