The former Manchester City and Bayern Munichdefender avoided a potential five-year jail term for biting and punching Senler but was hit with the largest financial damages that the Munich District Court could hand out.
The 33-year-old bit Senler during a holiday in the Caribbean thee years ago, spitting blood in her face and punching her in the kidney which caused bodily harm to Senler.
The Germany international denied the allegations, claiming that he was attacked by Senler, but Boateng was convicted of causing dangerous bodily harm by judge Kai Dingerdissen.
Charges were originally brought before a district court way back on 11 February 2019 but the trial was delayed for over two years and finally the case has been judged .
Boateng and Senler were together for a decade and have twin girls together, Soley and Lamia.They where very happy together till their sudden change in behaviors which is destroying their relationship.
