Nigerians called for the arrest of actress Funke Akindele Bello after she threw a party for her husband during his birthday amid lockdown.

Truly, the actress was arrested on Sunday and she spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID office in Panti, Lagos.

According to the report, her husband who was not at home when Funke was picked up has turned himself in and they are being interrogated.

An authoritative source has confirmed that Funke and her husband JJC Skillz are being arraigned before the court; they face a month jail term or N100,000 if they are found guilty.

Meanwhile, Naira Marley and others who were at the party have all been summoned but they are yet to report.

“Where there is a violation of a closedown or stay-at-home order, security agencies shall have the power to arrest without warrant and may detain any person, who violates the closedown or stay-at-home order, for at least 48 hours.

“Where the arrested person is found guilty, the person is liable to a fine of N100,000 or one month imprisonment or three months’ community service.” The regulation act in part reads.
