‘Don’t push too hard to be physically perfect…’- Yvonne Nelson advises

Following actress and fashion enthusiast Nana Akua Addo’s blunder at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards last Saturday at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos—we are certain that people would go to great lengths to do whatever it takes to look perfect.

We are all guilty of this—from using editing apps to using camera 360 through to taking pills and using makeups all in our bid to look perfect and flawless.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel beautiful or using stuff on yourself to enhance your beauty.

We all feel inadequate and less beautiful sometimes. Actress Yvonne Nelson is here to substantiate that fact.

The actress says she is not perfect and no one is— in her post, she stated that she is not aiming an attack on anyone but urging us all not to push so hard to look perfect.

Rather, we should focus on using our brains and putting it to good use.

Don’t push too hard to be perfect physically…..its ok to feel inadequate sometimes, we are only human …..put that energy into educating yourself. Use the part of the body many forget to use, THE BRAIN, use it to its fullest, read, explore, Smile, speak up,don’t be afraid, breathe…. and know this one thing you are perfect in God’s eyes, you are different and that makes you unique.
