A SarkNation member has been busted to for creating fake twitter account to hype Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.
A female twitter account with an American name tweeted about Sarkodie’s upcoming Beale Street Festival show alongside legendary rapper Lil Wayne on May 1 at Tom Lee Park in the USA.
Using the fake handle, @Andrea93439934, the user tweeted, she will be one of those white fans at the 3-day event who will sing all his Twi songs.
The tweet has garnered huge engagement but upon s little scrutiny, it was revealed that the account was created by a Sark fan here in Ghana just to validate his/her artiste with international appeal.
This unnecessary need for fans to feel validated by foreigners is nauseating.
