Female Dancehall artiste Okailey Verse widely known as OV has revealed what accounted for her leaving the Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group.
OV signed for Burniton Music Group after winning music reality show MTN Hitmaker in 2018.
In an interview with MzGee on 3FM’s Showbuzz, OV said Stonebwoy decided her contract because he didn’t intend for her to be dragged into the messy situation between him and his longtime manager, Blakk Cedi and protege, KelvynBoy.
” Stonebwoy and I spoke before he made the public announcement. I can’t disclose everything we discussed. But he told me he didn’t want the mess to have anything to do with me. So he wanted me to be on my own so that whoever loved me will continue to do so and support me regardless of where I was.” she asserted
She added that both Blakk Cedi and Stonbwoy continue to protect her as they did before the split.
