MzVee has responded to claims that she stole beats of Ghanaian music duo, Zee TM, without seeking prior consent.

The group earlier expressed disappointment about the fact that an ace brand like MzVee could use their beats without approval.

According to them, MOG who recorded the song for them happens to be the same engineer who normally works on MzVee’s songs.

To them, this points to the fact that either MOG gave the beats to MzVee or she stole it.

But the singer in an interview with Abeiku Santana denied any of such allegations saying she has receipts to prove that she bought the said beats from MOG.

She said the artists claiming rights to the beats did not even pay for it. “From the conversation my team and I had with MOG, he said they didn’t even buy the beats but I have receipts to show for it,” Mzvee stated.

She added that MOG originally created the beats for Mugeez who afterward introduced her to it.

“MOG produced the song for Mugeez. I went to Mugeez’s house and he was going through some of his beats and we started vibing to this particular one,” she reiterated.
