Honorable Barbara Oteng Gyasi, Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts

The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi has asked Ghanaian expatriates to return home and contribute to nation-building.

Madam Oteng Gyasi made the plea when she was speaking at a private dinner organized by Ghana ambassador to America.

She announced that the end of the ‘Year of Return’ is also the start of ‘Beyond the Return’, decade program spanning for a decade which was launched by President Akufo Addo recently.

Year of Return Comedy Night to ‘unite’ Ghanaians and Diasporans

The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture reiterated how the ‘Year of Return’ initiative had a phenomenal response from the global African family.

She charged African descents to make a bond with Africa and do their best to leave a legacy within the continent.

Madam Barbara Gyasi stressed the need for these expatriates to think about how beneficial the skills they have acquired will be useful to Africa and Ghana.

She urged them to think about how they can help uplift the image of Africa and make it a better place.
