2020: Free electricity for every Ghanaian – Akua Donkor promises

Leader and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has officially declared she will be contesting 2020 elections with a promise of providing free electricity for every Ghanaian if elected

I’ll give mothers 1 year maternity leave after birth when I become President – Akua Donkor

According to her, her decision is borne out of her edge to change the poor system in Ghana and make things better especially for the poor

She made this known when she spoke to GhanaWeb in an interview.

She said considering the current situation in Ghana, she intends to make most utility bills free.

She said “When I become president, Ghanaians won’t pay for electricity, water and other utility bills. I don’t have the money but I know God will provide so I can make Ghana look like Libya.

I will also ensure that all women, especially in the public sector get 12 months maternity leave instead of three months to enable them take care of their children well enough”.
