A Ghanaian believed to be an informant was killed by a Cameroonian on Thursday

It is no surprise in this 21st century where a 10-year-old boy can have a girlfriend but to go the extreme and kill a fellow boy to keep her is quite a surprise.

A student of Bawali Primary School in Eastern Uganda is currently on the run with his father from the police after allegedly stabbing to death his school mate he accused of having an affair with his girlfriend who is 11 years of age.

The victim, 16, identified by police as Sam Watsosi was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed with a knife below the naval area.

Watsosi who was a senior two student at Bulucheke Secondary School in Bududa District, died on Monday. The body is still at the hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.

Bududa District Police Commander (DPC) Mr. Jaffar Magyezi, confirmed the incident on Wednesday morning and said they were hunting for the suspect.

According to him, they are hunting for the boy and his father so the relatives of the deceased should desist from threatening to kill the suspect’s relatives or plan on retaliating. he said.

He also added that the suspect will be apprehended and charged with murder in the court of law.

Mr Charles Mutabali Kibeti, the LCIII chairperson of Bunamubi trading centre, described the incident as regrettable.”
